Hurricane is an ability found in the Ability Book. It is a Threshold Attack ability which requires level 55 Attack to use and only works with two-handed melee weapons.
It has a cooldown time of 20 seconds. When activated the player spins on the spot, dealing up 66-219% ability damage to all adjacent targets, as well as opponents standing on the player's square. The main target is hit a second time for up to 84-161% ability damage.
Most two-handed weapons will deal damage in a 3x3 area, with the exception of halberds, the noxious scythe and Ivandis flail, which deal damage in a 5x5 area.
This ability is fairly similar to Quake, however it will deal more damage, although it won't reduce the target's defence. Hurricane's cooldown is shared with Destroy.
Trivia
- Although the ability's name is "Hurricane", the symbol is of a tornado.
- Hurricane used to deal 400% weapon damage, but due to a change in the beta which significantly increased damage of all weapons, this was reduced to 188% damage. With the release of Legacy Mode, Hurricane's damage was raised to a maximum of 219%.
