An impling jar is a butterfly jar covered with imp repellent. These specially treated jars are used to catch implings in Impetuous Impulses and all over RuneScape, and used to catch bakami and orokami in the Arc.

Impling jars cannot be used to catch butterflies.

Obtaining impling jars

Impling jars can be made by using imp repellent with an empty lamp oil still at the Chemist's House in Rimmington (the one in Dorgesh-Kaan does not work). After filling the oil still, use a butterfly jar on it to create an impling jar.

Players may also trade Elnock Inquisitor any type of captured impling for three jars, or trade him three essence, two eclectic, and one nature impling jar for a jar generator. Elnock's Backup Supply also sells jars for one coin each.
