Imre is one of the citizens of Canifis. He can be found in the Hair of the dog pub. If you are not wielding a wolfbane dagger when you attack, he will turn into a werewolf. He is more friendly if you are wearing a Ring of charos. He is the only citizen of Canifis who says different statements from the rest of the citizens; if you are wearing a ring of charos he will talk mostly about onions. He cannot be killed as part of a werewolf slayer assignment in his human form.

Although he owns a shop, he does not act as a merchant towards the player.

During Return to Canifis, he acted as the leader of the welcoming party for the emissary from Varrock, getting them settled and telling them about what was expected of them and what would happen if they didn't comply. He made it clear he had a desire to eat Doric, as he has never tasted dwarf before, and hoped they would break their expectations. However, in their fight following the attack upon Canifis, he was easily bested by Doric as he had a wolfbane dagger hidden on him and was forced to aid the embassy in their escape by misleading the werewolf hunters.
