The infernal urn is an item which was released on 2/15/2011 in the skills bonanza update.

An infernal urn requires 2 soft clay and 1 air rune to create and requires 62 crafting to make.

To make an urn, use a piece of soft clay on a pottery wheel, then use the unfired urn on a pottery oven, and finally, attach the required rune (Air) to it.

Filling an infernal urn requires 25 infernal ashes which are dropped from black and abyssal demons, nechreyals and boss demon monsters. (4% urn filled each ash)

Leaving a prayer urn in your inventory will mean ash drops are automatically collected inside until the urn is full and ready to be teleported away.

A full infernal urn cannot be used with a gilded altar to receive a higher amount of experience.

On teleportation of the urn, the player receives 1875 prayer experience.
