Initiate hauberk Detailed.

An Initiate hauberk is the platebody piece of initiate armour that can be obtained from Sir Tiffy Cashien in Falador after completing the Recruitment Drive quest. The quest is required to equip the hauberk, along with 20 Defence. It has the exact equivalent defence bonuses as a mithril platebody but also offers +6 Prayer bonus. It is white with bright gold trim.

This piece of armour cannot be made using the Smithing skill. Even though this armour is trimmed, it cannot be obtained from Treasure Trails.

The hauberk, if part of a full set of the armour, can be stored in the Armour case of a Player-owned house.

Trivia

  • In real life, the hauberk is a long coat of chainmail; a more appropriate name for this would be cuirass.
  • Proselyte equipment doesn't block Ava's devices.
