Insectoid assassins are Scabarites encountered during the Smoking Kills quest. Turned from the true path of Scabaras, they now serve Amascut, the Devourer.

Four Assassins are encountered during the quest's final battle, alongside the Banshee Mistress. When the Mistress reaches half health, the Assassins will begin to attack the players with rapid Ranged attacks from the corner of the room. These attacks are extremely powerful and hit up to 180 (approx), and it is recommended that Protect from Ranged prayer is used as soon as they appear.
