Inspiration

A player obtaining inspiration while disassembling items.

Inspiration was a mechanic of the Invention skill. Inspiration was used to unlock blueprints of equipment and upgrades in the skill. How optimised the blueprint was during the research process determined how much inspiration was used, with poorly optimised blueprints consuming the most (up to 220% of minimum) and perfectly optimised blueprints consuming the least.

Inspiration was removed in an update on 18 September 2017 as part of a significant update to the Invention skill.[1]
