Kal'Ger the Warmonger is the leader of the Kal'Gerion demons and a servant of Bilrach. He is described in a set of notes found in Daemonheim. Kal'Ger was released in-game on 2 November. In the November behind the scenes he is mentioned as an update for the last boss in the warped floor dungeoneering batch . Kal'Ger is the highest levelled and toughest Dungeoneering boss within Daemonheim and features voice acting (similar to that of Yk'Lagor the Thunderous).

The Kal'gerion Notes tell of how Bilrach connected RuneScape to the demon's realm through his "portal experimentation." Upon seeing the true power of the Mahjarrat, Kal'Ger and his army pledged their allegiance to Zamorak and Bilrach.

The Fight

Upon entering the room, a cutscene starts where another Kal'gerion Demon is summoned and tells Kal'Ger that that floor set has been infiltrated or that the floor stays strong. If it says that the floor has been infiltrated, Kal'Ger will say that it's unacceptable and kill the demon in one hit. If the demon says that the floor is strong, the demon will teleport away. Immediately afterward, Kal'Ger will jump over to your side and begin to attack you with melee.

After dealing some damage he will take his first weapon from the wall, his Primal longsword. After dealing some of his health out, he will then hop over to the other side, take his Celestial catalytic staff and begin to use a magical attack. At this point, the player can either stay on that side, or they can use the Magical orb to teleport over, and proceed to use melee. Shortly after, Kal'Ger will hop back over to the other side, and begin to use melee again this time with his Primal 2h sword. The Primal 2h in this phase of the fight can deal quite a bit of damage, but with the Deflect Melee prayer, it is able to deflect A LOT of the Primal 2h's attacks, but unsuccessfully rebounds it back to him. Also, if the player is still on the far side, he will shout "You dare hide from me? BURN!" and toss all the players into the lava pit between them, regardless of what side they are on. This can deal quite a lot of damage.

Shortly after, Kal'Ger will fly back over to the other side, and begin to use his Ranged attack using his Sagittarian shortbow As with the magical attack, the player can use the Warped Sprite to teleport back over to that place.

Finally, he will hop back over to the other side, heal a bit and take his Primal maul, and then use melee for the rest of the battle. However, this time he can deal A LOT of damage, it is known that he is able to hit up to 990 LP during this part.

Occasionally, if you have a Deflection or Protection prayer on, he will scream "Your god can't help you now!" and deactivate it (Although sometimes, there is a glitch, in which, he can't shut off your Deflection/Protection prayer(s), and still continues saying that afterwards). He will also sometimes shout "ENOUGH", disabling your prayer and hit your current lifepoints -1.

When the players defeat Kal'Ger, he will fall and cause an attack similar to the Wrath and Retribution prayer effect while shouting IMPOSSIBLE!. He will deal damage so be sure to heal full or teleport out after his death, this can cause a real decrease in your xp earnings. The damage earned is indicated by how much life points you have once he dies.

Also, during the final "stage" of the fight (when Kal'Ger uses his Primal Maul) he will "leech" the Turmoil curse. You will know when he uses this when you see a message saying "The Warmonger steals your Turmoil effects!" Your Turmoil effects will not be affected, but the Warmonger will be granted the same abilities.

At the beginning of the battle, a random Kal'Gerion Demon is teleported into the room, where they report what is currently happening on their floor set. Below are the conversations of him with the player during the fight.

• Now it's your turn! (At which point the battle would begin.)
• You dare hide from me? BURN! (When throwing a player into lava)
• Your god can't help you now! (When deactivating prayers)
• GRRRR! (Throughout the battle while fighting you)
• ARGHHH! (Whenever he changes sides)

While Kal'Ger is the leader of the Kal'Gerion, he has a simple military structure in his army. He has his five generals, then he has the Lesser demons and Greater demons that serve under them.

• He was named as the Toughest Dungeoneering Boss Ever™ by Jagex in November's behind the scenes.
• Kal'Ger the Warmonger, along with his generals, are some of the few monsters to ever be voice-acted in the game.
• Kal'Ger's room may possibly be the place where Primal equipment could be forged, which would explain why he has various Tier 11 equipment, including the Celestial catalytic staff, and a Sagittarian shortbow (Even though they're not made of metallic materials), and is shown through two non-usable Furnaces in the room.though the furnaces are not usable,they have a "smith option.
