The Katagon 2h sword is used in the Dungeoneering skill. It requires 70 Attack to wield. This weapon is a common pick for those that do not have 80 attack required for gorgonite or can not make their own gorgonite weapons. This weapon is favoured because of its high attack bonuses and the fact that it uses two hands to wield, making a shield unneeded. The only katagon weapon with a better bonus is the katagon maul which has a higher crush attack bonus and strength bonus but lacks the slash attack style. Both katagon maul and this weapon are two handed. It can be smithed by having level 78 smithing and 4 katagon bars.
