The key to the crossing is a drop that is obtained from defeating the inhabitants of the Sophanem Slayer Dungeon. It is used to access the Magister boss fight, destroying the key.
Like the Khopesh of the Kharidian and corrupted gems, these keys are dropped on the ground if rolled on rather than being placed in the chest for safekeeping. Unlike the Ascension keystones, a loot beam does not appear for these keys when rolled on (unless the setting is lowered enough); sufficient luck can also indicate the presence of a key.
If killing the monsters on a slayer task, the drop rate of the key is greatly increased.
