Starting the quest

• Speak to lava-flow miner Sven standing outside of the Lava Flow Mine in Keldagrim East. ( 1•✓)…

Rescuing the miners

• Free all 6 dwarves by mining the rubble surrounding them (they are all close to the entrance) and take them back to Foreman Jaak (you are able to mine the lighter coloured rocks).

Releasing Veldaban

• Talk to Veldaban near the protesters outside. ( ~•~•~)…

• Go to the top floor of the palace.
• Talk to Veldaban. ( 3•2)…

  3	Why are you so angry?
  2	You should try to calm down.

• Talk to the Green Gemstone Director. ( 4•3)…

  4	I was there when the explosion happened.
  3	I rescued some of the miners.

• Talk to the Yellow Fortune Director. ( 1•1)…

  1	Why did you arrest Veldaban?
  1	Veldaban's popular. Arresting him makes you look worse.

• Talk to the Blue Opal Director. ( 2•2)…

  2	Tell me about the Lava Flow Mine.
  2	So the chaos dwarf blew up the secondary boilers?

• Talk to the Brown Engine Director. ( 3•2)…

  3	What did you want to do about the miners?
  2	It was a difficult decision. I understand.

• Dismiss any pets and talk to the consortium general secretary. ( 1)…

Records chamber

Items needed: 6 soft clay and 6 mithril bars

• If you should somehow lose Veldaban, he will be waiting for you at the Laughing Miner Pub located in Keldagrim East.
• Talk to Hreidmar outside the eastern entrance of the palace. 
• Talk to one of the protesters. ( 1)…

  1	Does anyone know where Meike is?

• Head to the King's Axe Inn (Keldagrim West) and talk to Luitger. ( 3)…

  3	You're not joining the protests?

• Go to the Black Guard HQ (west of the bank) and talk to Klaas.
• Go to the top of the Keldagrim Watchtower (south edge of West Keldagrim) and talk to Meike. ( 3•1)…

  3	We could get into the records of the chamber first.
  1	I'll meet you both at the library.

• Go to the library north of the palace in West Keldagrim.
• Talk to the Librarian. ( 3)…

  3	Could you open the display case, please?

• Use the soft clay on Meike and then talk to the librarian about the keys. ( 3)…

  3	Can you tell me more about the keys?

• Talk to Meike.
• Go to a furnace (there are none in Keldagrim; a portable forge won't work) and use a mithril bar or any of the key moulds on it. ( 1)…

  Yes.

• Go to the Records Chamber (Enter Entrance in the wall, west of the Black Guard HQ) and talk to Meike or Veldaban.
• Match up the keys with the correct keyholes. See the picture below for the solution.

• Open the door.

Routing the chaos dwarves

Prepare for battle against Colonel Grimsson (level 84).

Defeating Colonel Grimsson

Items recommended: Combat boosting potions and food

• Talk to Veldaban. ( 1)…

  1	Can you show me the way to the Barendir caverns?

• Enter the tunnel and go to the opposite end of the cavern.
• Defeat Colonel Grimsson while making sure Veldaban does not die.

Recruiting the trolls

• Head back halfway through the cavern until you come to an entrance on the east side, enter it and speak to Pretty Flower. ( 2•2)…

• Lift the big rock opposite My Arm.
• Lift the troll named Big Rock.
• Talk to Pretty Flower ( 1•4)…

  1	We want you to help defend Keldagrim from chaos dwarves.
  4	I'll just be going.

• Go to the protest outside the palace.
• Talk to Veldaban, who is standing within the group of protesters.
