Kiss the frog, also known as Frog, is a random event. The random event begins with the player being teleported to the Land of the Frogs, where he/she speaks to Frog Herald, who tells him how to solve the event. The player then has to speak to the frog with the crown, which is the Frog prince or princess whom he must kiss, in order to break a spell. Your character will either remark "I bet I'd get in trouble if I started asking people for this sort of thing! Oh well, it's for a good cause." or "Excuses, excuses Ok, if that's what you want.", if you are a male player. A female players remarks may be different. Doing so will reward the player with a random event gift, which contains the option of the prince /princess outfit.

If you talk to any other frog in that area, the king/queen will be offended. If you do it several times, the king/queen will get angry and teleport you to the land of frogs, where you are also transformed into a frog. Speaking to the frog princess/prince will teleport you back to a random place in Gielinor, without a reward.

The location of the random event

The Land of the Frogs is an enclosed swamp inhabited by frogs, which all seem to wear hats. The frog which is wearing a crown, is the frog princess/prince. Whilst there, players only have six buttons:

• Ignore List
• Clan Chat
• Options
• Music Player
• Notes

Players who were sent there unlocked a new piece of music called Frogland. This used to be the only random event in which a player received a reward (access to a new music track) for ignoring the random event. Now the music is automatically unlocked when you are teleported away by the event.

Trivia

• The frogs used to not teleport the player away. Instead they would appear near the player. Talking to the other frogs would not make the player teleport, but ignoring them would.
• The law altar is visible to the north of the area using the Orb of oculus.
