Kyatt fur is sometimes obtained by pit trapping a Sabre-toothed kyatt in the polar/snow hunting region, although Tatty kyatt fur is more often obtained. Level 55 Hunter is required. The fur can be taken to the Fancy Dress Shop owner in Varrock, who will turn it into a hat, top, or legs for some coins. Wearing the set of kyatt camouflage increases the player's hunting abilities in snowy areas. Level 52 Hunter is required to wear the set. Kyatt fur is also a tertiary component used in Summoning to make spirit kyatt pouches.
Players can also get Kyatt fur as a reward from the 'gamble' reward from Soul Wars.
Players may receive kyatt fur from opening a box of summoning ingredients, a possible reward from the Familiarisation Distraction and Diversion.
