A Large XP lamp is a purchased reward from the Battle of Lumbridge which grants the player a definite amount of experience scaled to the selected skill level. The experience gained is the same from level 98 to 120. This lamp provides 95% of the experience a large prismatic lamp would give. After the week 9 vote, the stored price was reduced to 1235 renown.
Note: If you use a large XP lamp on Dungeoneering, you will not be awarded with the dungeoneering tokens.
Trivia
- In a hidden update on 13 August 2013, all 3 tiers of lamps were merged into the same item. Originally the Tier 2 large lamp cost 1,450 renown and required a gold token, while the Tier 3 large lamp cost 1,600 renown and required a runite token.
- The experience of the Tier 1 lamp used to be 95% of a normal Squeal of Fortune lamp, and a Tier 2 lamp granted the same amount of experience as a SoF lamp.
