A large orrery is built in the Study of a player-owned house as a decoration. There is no practical use for a Large orrery except for ornamentation. The orrery shows Gielinor (with Zanaris in orbit) rotating around a star in the solar system. There is a second planet, with two moons, between Gielinor and its star.

- Before the RuneScape HD update, the large orrery was larger, taking up a 3x3 space instead of a 2x2.
