A law talisman staff can be made by combining a law talisman with a runecrafting staff. The law talisman and staff can be combined by using them on the Law Altar, which grants 27 Runecrafting experience. Runecrafting staves are sold at the Runecrafting Guild by Wizard Elriss for 10,000 Runecrafting guild tokens or by Stanley Limelight for 330 thaler.

The staff is used in the Runecrafting skill. It is similar to a law tiara in purpose, as it can be equipped, allowing players to left click on the Law Altar to enter it and save an inventory space when crafting runes through not having to carry a law talisman. Jagex have also said that the staff can also be used for "distracting the eyes in the Abyss to help you sneak past". It cannot be used as a substitute for law runes when casting Magic spells.

Unlike the other talisman staves, the law talisman staff has no combat bonuses which allows it to be taken to Entrana by the Monks of Entrana.

Trivia

• On the day of the release the law talisman staff, in combat, had no attack delay, hitting every tick (0.6 seconds). This allowed the weapon to attack very quickly, although without having any equipment bonuses, done in order to allow access to Entrana where weapons are forbidden. The glitch was found and patched.
