A leather body is a portion of leather armour most commonly worn by low-level rangers and pure rangers, requiring no levels to be equipped. It is worn in the Chest slot. Players can make this item through the Crafting skill at level 14 from 1 piece of soft leather, giving 25 Crafting experience. Leather bodies may also be bought from the Varrock clothes shop, or found in a house south of the Varrock East Bank for free.

At level 41 Crafting, steel studs can be added to the body to make a studded body, giving 40 Crafting experience.

A leather body is one of the possible items that can be obtained from a mystery cracker.
