Legendary jack of trades is a tier five aura.

It is capable of being activated for three hours and recharges at 00:00 UTC. Like all the other auras, it is depleted if the player unequips it after activating it. Also, as with all auras, if the account using it is logged out while the aura is activated, the timer continues to run out.

To claim the reward, you must either wait for the full 3 hours to run out or unequip the aura after gaining experience in 25 skills. You may determine if you have gathered experience in a sufficient number of skills while the aura is still equipped by clicking on the "Aura time remaining" option in the Worn Equipment interface.

Warning: If you destroy this aura for whatever reason, when you reclaim it back from Xuan, the timer will be completely reset, meaning you have to wait until the next day, before you can actually activate and use it.

Until you claim your reward, any experience gained in addition to that needed to earn a reward in the first place will not count towards a further reward.

Any amount of experience in any skill, even 1 point, is all that is necessary for that skill (combat or non-combat) to count as completing one of the skills needed to obtain the reward. Experience rewards, however, such as Penguin Points, will NOT count towards the skills.

When the aura depletes, talk to Xuan to receive a reward book. The aura must be depleted to get the reward. If the three hours is not up and the experience in skills has been received (check time remaining to see progress and also to see how many skills in which experience has been gained in during the active period), simply unequip the aura to deplete it.

Attempting to activate the aura while in possession of a reward book fails with the message:

You must claim and use your reward from the Jack of Trades aura before you can receive another.

The experience reward is:

Routines

Taverley & Burthorpe routine

Reusable items:

A Melee weapon and a Ranged weapon (with ammunition).
- Note: The Gnome Shopkeeper's Armoury in Burthorpe provides both a bronze sword and a chargebow (which supplies its own ammunition) for free.

Recommended items:

Runes to cast an alchemy spell or an Explorer's ring with alchemy charges
A Wicked hood
Construction supplies
Mask of the Troll or a Slayer contract
Any divination energy and secondaries to weave something
A Toy mouse

#	Skills	Action
1–7.		Start from the Taverley lodestone and enter your POH, which should be set at Taverley. Activate the aura, and build anything in your house. Exit, and run north to the flax field. Pick one flax from the field. Fish one Raw crayfish from the pond to the east. Chop the surrounding trees until you've obtained two logs. Fletch one log into an Arrow shaft, Shortbow (u), or Shieldbow (u). Make a fire with the other log. Cook the Raw crayfish on the fire.
8–10.		Trade with Ayleth Beaststalker north of the pond to obtain a free Bird snare. Catch a Crimson Swift. Bury the bones obtained. Cast an alchemy spell on the bird meat.
11–14.	()	Travel to Jack Oval's crafting Shop. Use the Spinning Wheel to craft a Bowstring. Enter the Burthorpe mine, mining one Copper and one Tin ore. (If you have the Mask of the Troll, wear it, and kill one troll in the mine. If not, add Slayer near the end) Exit the mine to smith one Bronze bar.
15–19.		Set your melee combat experience to Balanced, and ranged combat experience for an option that is not Defence. Attack and kill a wolf found north of the Burthorpe mine with a Melee weapon and Ranged weapon.
20.		Travel to Poletax's Herblore Shop, taking the free Grimy guam. Clean the Grimy guam.
21.		Follow the road south from Poletax's Herblore Shop to the market. Pickpocket a Pompous Merchant or steal from one of the Vegetable Stalls.
22-23.		Travel to Pikkupstix's Summoning Shop, collecting the 7 Spirit shards, 1 pouch, 1 gold charm, and 1 Wolf bones for free. Infuse a Spirit wolf pouch. Use your energy to weave something.
24.		Travel to the Burthorpe Agility Course. Walk-across the Log Beam. Alternatively, a Toy mouse can be used to gain the agility experience negating the need to teleport away from, or complete the agility course.
25.		Use your wicked hood to teleport to an altar Craft runes If you did not use the Mask of the Troll earlier, teleport to Canifis or the Slayer Tower, and pick up a contract for Crawling hands. Kill one.
