The lightning rod hat is a cosmetic override unlocked by spending 100 grey matter on the 2016 Hallowe'en event.
Having this override unlocked also unlocks the Dark Inspiration skill animation override which enhances the Think and Idea emotes, and the enhanced emote is also played when gaining inspiration with the override active.
Trivia[]
- The Dark Inspiration animation overrides used to be paired with having the hat override activated on release, but they were changed to a separate skill animation toggle on 21 November 2016.
