The longer pulley beam is a quest item obtained during the Royal Trouble quest. It is used to repair the lift that takes the player further into the dungeons beneath Miscellania castle.
Combining a beam with a pulley beam turns it into a long pulley beam, and combining this with another beam turns it into a longer pulley beam.
