The lucky abyssal whip was a rare item that could be won from the Squeal of Fortune. It has the same bonuses as the regular abyssal whip, but it is untradeable and has a different appearance. It cannot be recoloured, attached to a whip vine, or made into a lava whip.

Despite it being reclaimable at Diango, if lost in the Wilderness whether skulled or not, it cannot be reclaimed.

The whip's special attack, Energy Drain

The lucky abyssal whip retains abyssal whip's special attack, Energy Drain, which requires 50% adrenaline. This deals 100% weapon damage and steals all of the opponent's run energy.

Trivia[]

There was a bug where players could make tradeable abyssal whips by using the whip vine on the lucky abyssal whip. This would turn the lucky whip into a standard abyssal vine whip, after which separating the item would return the whip vine and a standard abyssal whip. The lucky abyssal whip could then be reclaimed from Diango (or Ianto) and repeated again. This bug has since been fixed.
