Lumbridge beach boosters are items that can be won from 18 August 2016 to 22 August 2016 from Treasure Hunter.
When in the player's inventory, additional experience is gained while skilling in the Summer Beach Party, and the temperature gauge is prevented from filling up.
The experience from using these originally stacked with bonus experience, but this seems to have been changed in an update, significantly devaluing the reward for getting these, as the experience gained is now similar to simply having bonus experience.
Players are unable to fish raw tropical trout with an augmented crystal fishing rod or fishing rod-o-matic equipped and Lumbridge beach boosters in the inventory; the following message is given: The magic of your beach boosters interferes with your augmented device, preventing you from using your augmented crystal fishing rod.
If a player deposits coconuts at the Coconut Shy, or deposits fish by the Barbecues, one Lumbridge beach booster will be used for each coconut or fish deposited. Since depositing does not increase temperature to begin with, it is recommended not to use beach boosters when doing so.
