Lunar equipment

Lunar equipment is the ceremonial attire of the Moon Clan, is made by players during the Lunar Diplomacy quest, and may be kept afterwards. All armour and jewellery Lunar equipment require 65 Magic and 40 Defence to wear, and the staff requires 65 Magic to wield. The lunar armour is statistically identical to Splitbark armour. After completion of the quest, the pieces of Lunar equipment may be bought from the Oneiromancer on the Lunar Isle. This armour rivals the Dagon'hai robes (for the torso, legs, and helmet), but lacks the added prayer bonus. (The Dagon'hai set does not include gloves, boots, or cape.) Some players keep the quest incomplete so they can re-obtain them for far less the price than what they must pay to reobtain them from the Oneiromancer (the cost, 283,000 for the entire set, is similar to Mystic robes set). Note: Players may not make the items again after they complete the quest.

WARNING: These items will NOT show up under your gravestone. You will have to pay to get them back.

These robes may be stored in a Magic wardrobe in a player-owned house (not with a Lunar helm (e) however).

Although the Lunar equipment requires a higher Magic level than the Batwing robes, it provides less protection. It does however out rank Mystic robes.

Colour change

In addition, it is possible to have your Lunar equipment in a different colour (the staff does not get recoloured), by spending 2,000 Loyalty points, as of 21 September 2011. To Re-colour your lunar equipment, go to Xuan's Loyalty Store in Varrock Square or Burthorpe, then use one piece of lunar equipment on Xuan himself. You will be given the option to change your equipment's colour to, red, yellow, green, blue or back to its original colour.

Trivia

• Lunar equipment is the largest armour set in-game, consisting of 9 pieces.
• It is possible for players to obtain multiple sets of Lunar robes through using the recolour feature at the loyalty shop.
• Before the EoC Mystics, Dagon'hai robes and Sacred clay robes had equal stats, now Dagon'hai is equal to that of Lunars, and Sacred clay robes surpass Lunars.
