The Magpie impling is an Impling that can be caught in the Impetuous Impulses activity, and are located throughout Puro-Puro and RuneScape. The player needs at least 65 Hunter to capture this type of Impling. The player can catch the Magpie Impling bare-handed (in which case a higher Agility level increases the chance of catching), or can use a normal or magic butterfly net, which will improve the chance of catching. If the player has an Impling jar in their inventory, the Magpie impling will be trapped in it, otherwise it will flee and give the player some loot. It would be best to use the best snare spell a player can cast on the Magpie as they are rare and hard to catch.
When the impling is finally caught, the player can either trade with Elnock Inquisitor or can loot the Magpie Impling from the Magpie impling jar, which will leave an item behind. The player can get 3 Impling jars for one Magpie Impling (which is the same as for any impling from baby to Kingly imps)
Capturing a Magpie Impling will grant the player either 289 (if caught on Puro-Puro) or 409 (if caught on RuneScape) Hunter experience.
Magpie implings can sometimes say *Wheeze*.
