This is a list of known materials in the Invention skill. Materials are obtained by disassembling items found throughout RuneScape. This requires level 80 Smithing, Crafting, and Divination.
Common materials
When disassembling materials, common components are shown as white text and are often found in every item.

Uncommon materials
Uncommon materials are found the same way as with common materials. However, when a player disassembles an item for an uncommon material, they are highlighted as orange text.

Rare materials
Unlike common and uncommon materials, rare materials can only be found through more specific items. Most rare materials have a 100% chance of obtaining; only a select few do not have this chance.
