The max hood is obtained from Max when a player purchases a Max cape. It is available to players who have attained at least level 99 in all 27 skills (it does not require level 120 in Dungeoneering or Invention). Players may buy a set of the hood and the cape from Max for 2,673,000 coins, which is 99,000 coins times 27, the number of skills.
Just like the Max cape, the Max hood is fully customisable colour-wise (the colours can be customised by using the option in the right-click menu of the cape).
The hood can also be attached to the cape to create the hooded max cape.
