The Mazcab ability codex is an item that can be used to unlock various abilities. It can be bought from the Armoursmith for 25,000 teci, or received as a drop from Beastmaster Durzag or Yakamaru. There is no confirmation message upon selecting an ability; it will be chosen immediately.

The codex can be used to unlock one of the following abilities, after which it is consumed:

• Storm Shards and Shatter (together)
• Onslaught
• Corruption Blast
• Corruption Shot
• Mazcab Teleport

It is impractical to purchase the codex for themselves using teci, as it is much cheaper to buy a specific ability's codex (15,000 teci) or the Mazcab Teleport spell's codex (2,000 teci), unless if they intend on selling the codex.
