Message of the week is a weekly message that players see every time they login to their RuneScape accounts. It features a person/object with a piece of advice. There is a new one every Wednesday.

The Message will have a different person/object for every different message. During holiday events, the person/object will pertain to the specific event (e.g. Jack'o lantern for Hallowe'en, the Easter Bunny for Easter, or a snowman for Christmas.) On those certain holiday's, the message will either say "Happy (Christmas/Easter/Halloween)" or some information regarding the event.

Also, along with the Message of the Week, the "Welcome to Runescape Screen", you can find out how much members credit you have left, if Jagex has sent you any messages, if you have a bank pin, the last time you set your recovery questions, and if you have an email address registered.
