Metallic dragon trinkets are a neck slot item that provide a variety of uses related to metal dragon killing, with a number of trinkets being consumed each time they provide a benefit. They can be acquired by using the 'convert' option of dragon trinkets at a ratio of 5 to 1. Metallic dragon trinkets can also be converted back into regular dragon trinkets at the same ratio.
The ability to create metallic dragon trinkets was first added on 4 April 2016, but this was later patched so that players could not create more metallic dragon trinkets and could not use any that they had already created. The ability to make metallic dragon trinkets was re-introduced on 14 April 2016, during the promotion for these items.
When worn or in the inventory they will pick up and note dragon bones and bars from bronze, iron, steel, mithril, adamant and rune dragons; as well as offering teleports to places where these dragons are located. They will also provide Slayer experience on kills without a slayer task and have a 5% chance per hit of instantly killing a metal dragon when its health is above 80%.

Usage
The functions of metallic dragon trinkets can be toggled on or off in an interface which is opened by using the right-click "toggle" option on the trinkets. Different numbers of trinkets are consumed, depending on which benefits are used and the type of metallic dragon killed.
