Metallic dragon trinkets detail

Metallic dragon trinkets are a neck slot item that provide a variety of uses related to metal dragon killing, with a number of trinkets being consumed each time they provide a benefit. They can be acquired by using the 'convert' option of dragon trinkets at a ratio of 5 to 1. Metallic dragon trinkets can also be converted back into regular dragon trinkets, each producing 5 dragon trinkets.

The ability to create metallic dragon trinkets was first added on 4 April 2016, but this was later patched so that players could not create more metallic dragon trinkets and could not use any that they had already created. The ability to make metallic dragon trinkets was re-introduced on 14 April 2016 for the promotion for these items. The promotion lasted until 18 April 2016. Metallic dragon trinkets could be won directly from Treasure Hunter in batches of 75, 150 and 300 during the promotion.

When worn or in the inventory they pick up and note dragon bones and bars from bronze, iron, steel, mithril, adamant and rune dragons, as well as offer teleports to places where these dragons are located. Note that the bonecrusher upgrade when configured to pickup bones will preempt the metallic dragon trinkets, and you will receive unnoted bones in your inventory without consuming the trinkets. They also provide Slayer experience on kills even outside Slayer assignments and have a 5% chance per hit of instantly killing a metal dragon when its health is above 80%.
