A primed mind bar is made during and after the Elemental Workshop II quest in the Elemental Workshop in Seers' Village. A primed mind bar can be created by placing a primed bar into the extractor gun found in the mind room on the third floor of the Elemental Workshop and sitting in the seat next to it—this changes the primed mind bar to an elemental mind bar and causes a player's Magic level to temporarily fall by 20.
An elemental mind bar can then be smithed into a Mind Helmet, Mind Shield or Mind Body (body requires 2 Mind Bars) by using it on the anvil in the first level of the Elemental Workshop while carrying a hammer and a Beaten book (for helmets), Slashed book (for shields) or a Ragged Book (for bodies).
