Miner's journal #5 is a journal obtained from killing Ripper Demons. This journal is only obtainable after miner's journal 4 has been received and read. Players do not have to be on a slayer assignment to obtain this journal. Obtaining and reading this journal is a requirement for the master quest cape.
This journal has a 1/100 chance of dropping. After 1000 Ripper Demon kills, it is a guaranteed drop.[1]
