The Mining prop is a quest item found during the Royal Trouble quest. It is given to the player by a dwarf called Donal in the dungeons of Miscellania castle. The player must use the prop to hold open a crack in the rocks that allows passage deeper into the dungeons. If you use a Tinderbox with it, the message "The tunnel will collapse if you do that!" will appear.
