A mirror shield is a piece of Slayer equipment used for fighting cockatrices and basilisks, requiring 20 Defence and 25 Slayer to wield. While fighting these monsters, the shield must be equipped, or the player's stats will be drastically reduced. A Mask of Stone, Helm of Petrification, Mask of Reflection or Helm of Little Kings can be used to substitute for the shield.
It can be bought from any Slayer Master for 5,000 coins, by trading with another player or bought from the Grand Exchange.
Players must have the requisite Defence and Slayer levels to wear the shield in order to be assigned a creature requiring the shield while fighting it as a Slayer task.
