The profit rate assumes 620 kills per hour. Your actual profit may be higher or lower depending on your speed.
Members of the Order of Ascension are killed for their ascension keystone drops. Rorarii are the best targets for large quantities of kills owing to their low life points and high population. With high end gear, upwards of 620 kills can be attained per hour.
Attacking a rorarius prompts the surrounding rorarii to attack you, meaning they cannot be taken down one-by-one. With high level armour, the attacks will not do large amounts of damage, but over time it will add up. Using food or Soul Split, lost life points can be healed easily. Aggression potions can be used to ensure that rorarii automatically attack you.
The best approach with rorarii is to use multi-targeting attacks. Ricochet does damage to two additional targets however the two targets damaged when attacked will not trigger more rorarii to attack so it is advised not to use it depending on your level of attention. Bombardment will damage all enemies adjacent to your target and should be used when 3 or more rorarii are standing together. Corruption Shot is highly effective if unlocked, with it spreading its damage over time effect to nearby rorarii. The same may be done with Incendiary Shot, though this will take a second to fire and will drain all of your adrenaline. Incendiary shot also gives a 30 second buff wherein all critical hits add 10% to your adrenaline; however this benefit may not be very useful considering the lack of ranged abilities.
When no multitargeting is available, focus on one rorarius at a time. Use abilities such as Dazing Shot and Binding Shot followed by Piercing Shot. While bombardment is not available, use Snap-shot and Rapid Fire as your threshold abilities. Remember to be mindful of your health at all times and your prayer points if using Soul Split.
Avoid fighting rorarii near other members of the Order, particularly capsarii who can heal their fellow members. Optimal locations for uninterrupted combat with rorarii include the spawns right after the entrance, the room east of the Secundus and Tertius laboratories, and the west side of the 60 agility shortcut. See here.
The rorarii's main drop are the ascension keystones, which means that at a kill rate of 600 per hour, you are likely to average about 9 keystones per hour. They also drop maple logs, gold ore, and noted potato with butter, which are not worth picking up as it slows down kills per hour. They also drop alchables like runite limbs, which may or may not be worth picking up.
