Revision as of 15:12, January 3, 2009

Morrigan's javelin is part of the Morrigan's equipment, obtained from killing another player on PvP worlds. It was released on 15 October 2008 during the PvP worlds update.

The corrupt version requires 20 Ranged, and lasts for 15 minutes of combat. Meanwhile, the normal version requires 78 Ranged, and lasts for an hour of combat. After the time is up, the item disintegrates. The time restrictions are the same on PvP and non-PvP worlds.

The normal javelin, if used on PvP worlds, will break like normal Ranged ammunition. Meanwhile, the corrupted version will break every time it is thrown.

Only the normal version javelin has a special attack called Phantom strike which "inflicts continuous damage in the same way that poison does". The Special attack is a 50% drain, so you can use it twice. This damage is faster than poison, and may be stacked with poison damage. The damage is same as what the special attack hit and hits with 5s (Example: you hit a 20 with special attack and poison like effect will do four 5s). The Special attack only works on players; the game will not allow you to use it on a monster.

Poisoned javelins

In addition, both versions can be poisoned with poison, such as weapon poison, extra strong weapon poison, and super strong weapon poison. Poisoning the javelin with these poisons adds the (p), (p+), and (p++) suffixes, respectively.
