Mugger v. Roger Murray is a court case in which the Mugger is charged with assault and robbery after an incident with Roger Murray.

Pre-trial[]

The defendant.

Before entering the courtroom, follow these steps:

  • Read through the three case reports.
  • Analyse the fingerprints. Select and confirm a match with the mugger's print.

Trial[]

Enter the courtroom. From this point onwards, the actions you must perform diverge based on on whether you are prosecuting or defending. Follow the steps from the appropriate section below.

Prosecution[]

  • Speak with the Judge. Present the fingerprint as evidence. This will only be successful if the print was identified before the trial.
  • Present the nightstick as evidence.
    • Say "This nightstick was found on the accused."
  • Present the face mask as evidence.
    • Say "The accused was wearing this mask when he was arrested."
  • Call the arresting officer to the stand.
    • Ask him about the "Nightstick."
  • Call the victim, Roger Murray, to the stand.
    • Ask him about the "Nightstick."
  • Direct the closing statement at the elderly gentleman (not the elderly citizen).

Defence[]

  • Speak with the Judge. Present the fingerprint as evidence. This will automatically be successful.
  • Present the nightstick as evidence.
    • Say "This nightstick was found on my client."
  • Present the face mask as evidence.
    • Say "It isn't a crime to wear a mask."
  • Call the victim, Roger Murray, to the stand.
    • Ask him about "The attack."
  • Call the arresting officer to the stand.
    • Ask him about "The victim."
  • Direct the closing statement at the shady individual or shady gentleman.

Trivia[]

  • There used to be an error on the Adventurer's Log where it said "A court summons was dropped; The case is Mugger (level: 6) VS Roger Murray." even though you did not obtain this case through a drop/pickpocket.
  • Following Kings Ransom, if one did not pick up the court summons from the clerk, they can receive 'Mugger V. Roger Murray' from another standard source
