Niles is a man found at the Grand Exchange who provides a tutorial of the Notes system. Either himself or one of his brothers, Miles or Giles, will be in his place. He was previously part of the Certer Random Event, where he and his brothers asked players to identify an item, such as a fish. In Runescape Classic, he was found in Draynor and could convert Raw lobsters, Lobsters, Raw swordfish, and Swordfish into Certificates. Orven and Seth had the same features, but were located at the Fishing Guild and Brimhaven respectively.
