A novite bar is a bar of refined novite ore. It is the lowest tier of bars available in Daemonheim, with the lowest level requirements to obtain and use. It can be created through the Smithing skill by using novite ore on a furnace, granting 7 Smithing experience. The novite ore itself can be mined from the rocks scattered throughout the dungeon, obtained as a monster drop, or bought from the Smuggler. It is the lowest level bar that can be made in Daemonheim, and as such it has no Smithing requirement to smelt.

A novite bar can be smithed on an anvil through the Smithing skill to create novite equipment, granting between 10 and 14.5 Smithing experience per bar used. A list of novite items that can be smithed from novite bars and the Smithing levels required can be found here.
