Skeletal Horror

The skeletal horror resembles the representation of Nyarlahydra.

Nyarlahydra was one of the deities worshipped by the horrors, mentioned in the Pestilent journal. The horrors represented this deity with an arrangement of carefully cleaned bones of a large individual of their own kind, bound with sinew and string. The skull of this representation is said to have worn a black mask. The horrors would whisper the name of this god when one of them died.

The skeletal horror bears a resemblance to Nyarlahydra's representation. Like the representation, the skeletal horror is composed of clean white bones, with a skull said to resemble a black mask. Its skull and a number of its other bones were discovered in the Mos Le'Harmless Caves, and was then reassembled using polished bones from other species by the Odd Old Man and player. Although they share these similarities, what connection they share, if any, is unknown.
