An oak chest is a crate that can be built in the Treasure Room in a player-owned house. To build one, the player requires at least 79 Construction, 5 oak planks and 2 steel bars. Building it grants 340 Construction experience.
It can only be opened when the Treasure room guardian is defeated. It can hold up to 10,000 coins. A player must wait five minutes before being able to add treasure to his or her chest.
