An Oak Longbow (u) is cut from Oak logs at 25 fletching, granting 25 experience. An unstrung oak longbow can be strung using a bowstring at 25 fletching, granting an additional 35 experience, and making a oak longbow. It is not usually used for training by high level fletchers, but it is good experience for low level fletchers. Like Unstrung Willow longbows, an Explorer Ring's 30 low level alchemy charges could be used to gain more money from the Unstrung bows than selling them to a general store, though you can only use the 30 charges once per day. If a player wants to quickly get rid of these quickly on the grand exchange, it is recommended to sell them for 5gp instead of 10, otherwise they are not likely to be bought, or may take a long time.
