This article is about the quest item. For other uses, see Octopus (disambiguation).
For the Karamjan octopus, see Karambwan.
The octopus is a quest item used in the quest Hunt for Red Raktuber. It is used to turn the wheel in the engine box. Wearing the octopus may also be a requirement to use the conch shell to signal the penguin submarine to surface.
The octopus can be worn on the head after completing the quest. It is only used for appearance and as a sign that the player has completed the quest as it has no bonuses. It is acquired at the same time as the three other headgears (puffer, ray and monkfish) from the quest.
