Ocularis is a moon in the multiverse.[1] It's the homeworld of the stalkers found within Daemonheim.[2]

History[]

Originally from the lower planes, Ocularis was once a rock hurtling through the universe, its massive size warping the gravity of nearby worlds. By mere chance, sometime before the start of the Third Age the first seeker was born in its depths.[3] This singular seeker would go on to spread its mass across the rock like a malignant tumor, consuming it within minutes and churning it into the core of its being in order to reform it into its brain.[4] This seeker would thus become the 'father' of all stalkers.

Although the father now had a brain, he lacked the means to sense its surrounding environment since he was not really alive. Not only that, he was unable to decide which sense to keep. Eventually, he settled for one sense alone: sight. With his newly forged eye, he continued to travel the universe, watching and learning as he did. It was sometime after this that the father took the name of Ocularis as his own.[5][6]

At some point Ocularis came upon Infernus while Zamorak was leading the Avernic Rebellion against the Chthonians. While they were unaware of his presence above them, Ocularis merely watched them, studying and learning about life as they waged war against their former masters.[7] He saw beauty in their fighting and in being one of many. When the war ended, Ocularis was confused and joyous; he wanted to experience things he could not, being a stone brain encased in flesh. He thus created extensions of his flesh, made in his image, that could hear, taste, feel, learn and procreate, but most importantly: they could see what he could not. On that day, Ocularis gave birth to the Stalker race.[8]

So, like a malignance awaking from its dormancy, in a moment of proliferation the flesh bubbled and boiled and birthed a whole new race; the race we know of as Stalkers. These beings, made in his image, were more than he could be. These beings could hear, they could taste, they could feel, they could procreate... but most importantly they could see. They could see what could not see, so he sent his children across the universe to watch, to learn and to listen... for him."
