The off-hand Ascension crossbow is a crossbow requiring level 90 Ranged to wield. It has an main-hand counterpart which is able to fire Ascension bolts, made with 90 Fletching. The parts to make an off-hand ascension crossbow are obtainable from the Order of Ascension slayer dungeon.
The crossbow is made by taking one each of the six ascension signets dropped by the legiones (Ascension signet I, Ascension signet II, Ascension signet III, Ascension signet IV, Ascension signet V, Ascension signet VI), along with a dragon crossbow and 100 ascension shards to Ocellus outside the monastery to create an Ascension crossbow, and converting to the Off-hand Ascension crossbow for another 100 shards. Ocellus can convert the Off-hand crossbow to the Main-hand version again with another 100 ascension shards.
Assuming one obtained each signet on the 64th kill, it would cost, on average, 147,076,842 coins to create an off-hand Ascension crossbow. This takes into account that each signet has a drop rate being 1 out of 64, thus we assume 64 keystones would result in one signet. It also takes into account the cost of the dragon crossbow and 200 ascension shards needed to give Ocellus.
It degrades in the same manner as Drygore weaponry, lasting for 10 hours in combat before needing to be repaired, although it can be repaired at any time before this as well. Repairs can be done by Bob in Lumbridge for 2,000,000 or at an armour stand in a POH, where the price depends on the Smithing level of the repairing player (down to 1,000,000 for a player with 100 Smithing).
The crossbow and its mainhand counterpart both provide full protection against the four main factions in the God Wars Dungeon, in the same manner as the Zaryte bow and Nex armour. However, this also means that they do not protect against Zaros followers in the Ancient Prison.
