The Off-hand Blightbound crossbow is a crossbow requiring level 92 Ranged to wield. It has a main-hand counterpart and is able to fire all bolts. It is the strongest off-hand crossbow in the game outside of Daemonheim.

The crossbow is a rare drop from Solak. It has a special effect that activates allowing a 25% chance to save bakriminel bolts. Combined with the Blightbound crossbow, there will be a 50% chance in total.

The crossbow will degrade to a broken state after 60,000 charges of combat (but loses 2 charges per hit, so has a minimum duration of 5 hours of combat). It can be fixed by Repair NPCs such as Bob in Lumbridge, or at an armour stand in a player-owned house. A full repair, without discounts, costs 1,500,000 coins.

The crossbow, and the main-hand variant can be dyed with either barrows, shadow, third-age, blood, or ice dyes. This process is irreversible and will make the crossbow untradeable.

Repair cost[]

The base repair cost of the Off-hand Blightbound crossbow when completely degraded to 0.0% item charge is 1,500,000 coins. It can be repaired by:

Bob - the axe seller in Lumbridge
Tindel Marchant - the weapon and armour repairman at Port Khazard
Dunstan - the smith in Burthorpe
Squire - in the workshop area of the Void Knights' Outpost

Alternatively, it can be repaired on an armour stand in a player-owned house, or a whetstone device anywhere. This provides a discount of 0.5% per Smithing level (including boosts).

If it is only partially degraded, then the cost of a full repair is multiplied by the percentage of item charge that needs to be repaired to produce the current repair cost.
