Enchanted onyx bolts are rune bolts tipped with enchanted onyx. Onyx bolts can be enchanted through the spell Enchant Crossbow Bolt (Onyx) by a player with level 87 Magic. The spell enchants 10 onyx bolts at a time.these bolts are hardly ever used due to their cost (8k+coins each bolt)which exceeds the cost of dragon arrows by over double.
Enchanted onyx bolts are enchanted with the Life Leech enchantment. This gives the bolts a chance of doing extra damage and healing the attacker's Hitpoints by 25% of the damage dealt. This does not work on Jews, as they have no life to leech.
