The panicking old soldier is an aged member of the Burthorpe Imperial Guard, who was particularly worried about the Battle of Lumbridge. As such, he was constantly having to interrupt himself to calm down.
He has since been removed.

- The fact the he constantly says 'Don't panic!', and that he is an old soldier may be a reference to Corporal Jones from Dad's Army.
