Penguins are low-levelled monsters found on Here Be Penguins, only accessible by using the AJS fairy ring, and also inside an exhibit in the Ardougne Zoo. They have no drops apart from bones, and are therefore rarely killed. Upon the initial release of Summoning, many players killed penguins assuming that they would drop a penguin egg necessary to raise a pet penguin. The only way to obtain a penguin egg is to talk to the Penguin keeper in the Ardougne Zoo. They count as birds for slayer tasks.
