A Phoenix quill is the second ingredient in creating Phoenix pouches. The only known way to get these so far is by completing the quest In Pyre Need. After that, a player may challenge the Phoenix with level 51 Slayer each day for 5 more quills.

When these were originally released, the price on the Grand Exchange was set at 3,000 coins each, which soon rose to just under 7,000 coins each. Today, they are tradeable at 6,114 coins. High level players will be able to make some money by killing the phoenix each day, if they choose to sell the quills.
